The main ingredients you should prepare are peeled shrimp, honey, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, minced fresh ginger (if you like), green onions for garnish and olive oil.
Use two teaspoons of fresh garlic if you chop it yourself. But if you use refrigerated jarred minced garlic, use one tablespoon. For the shrimps, you can leave the tail or take it off. Also, use fresh shrimp for best results, even if you can also use frozen shrimp.
So one of the reasons many people like to have dinner with shrimp is because it's quick. When cooked on the stove, they are ready within five minutes, while to marinate takes fifteen minutes. But you can leave the shrimps to marinate for 12 hours in the fridge.

Ingredients.
- 1 lb medium uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined.
- 2 tsp olive oil.
- 2 tsp fresh minced garlic.
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger (optional).
- 1/3 cup honey.
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce.
- Chopped green onion for garnish
Instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced fresh ginger.
- Prepare the peeled shrimp, then place it into Tupperware or a large Ziploc bag. Pour half your marinade mixture over the shrimps, stirring until well mixed.
- Keep your shrimps in the fridge for 15 minutes to marinate or all day for the best results. Also, keep the rest of your marinade in the refrigerator.
- Prepare a skillet, then heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add your shrimps to the skillet and discard the used marinade. Cook your shrimps until they turn pink (about 50 seconds), then flip the shrimps to the other side.
- Pour the rest of the marinade into the skillet, then cook for a minute until the shrimps are perfectly cooked. Transfer your shrimps and cooked marinade sauce to a plate, then garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm!
