Instant Pot Round Steak and Gravy Recipe
This delicious Round Steak Gravy is made with tender cuts of beef cooked for hours. You can cook this dinner menu using an instant pot. But if you have a lot of time, use your oven or slow cooker. In addition, this recipe produces four dishes for your family.
Also, if you want to double the meat, you don't have to adjust the onion or gravy. They are best served with mashed potatoes and buttery corn. But if you prefer rice or noodles, it's also just as good.
You can make this recipe using a crockpot. First, sear the meat using a skillet, then add onions and mushrooms in the same skillet until browned. Next, add the gravy mixture to the crockpot. Keep the lid on your crockpot, then cook for 8 to 9 hours over low heat.
If you only have an oven at home, the steps are the same as above. But, you have to put the gravy, sliced meat, and onions in a casserole dish. Cover your casserole dish with foil, then bake in the oven for 2.5 hours at 350 degrees.

Delicious Round Steak served with creamy mashed potatoes and buttery corn. You can add a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup to make it a creamy gravy.

Ingredients.
- 6 slices of round steak.
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled & smashed.
- 2 pouches of onion gravy.
- 2 tablespoon of butter.
- 2 cups of hot water.
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced.
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (optional).
Instructions.
- Prepare the skillet, then melt a tablespoon of butter. Put your round steak in a skillet, then sear for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, set aside.
- Prepare your instant pot, then melt a tablespoon of butter. Sauté the onion and garlic inside, then add the slices of meat.
- Dissolve two pouches of onion gravy into two cups of hot water. Pour this gravy over the meat and onions.
- Cook everything with high pressure for twenty minutes with a meat setting.
- Release the steam, then serve with mashed potatoes and buttery corn.
